Benjamin Franklin Bridge – Philadelphia

#travelwithgdp
Fact: At completion of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, its 1,750-foot (533-meter) span was the world’s longest for a suspension bridge, a distinction it held until the opening of the Ambassador Bridge in 1929.

Description: Locally known as the Ben Franklin Bridge, what you see in front of you is a suspension bridge across the Delaware River connecting Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Camden, New Jersey. One of the great views from Penn Landing which makes the view wholesome. I have edited this to B&W to capture the somber experience that I felt while I sat there watching the bridge on the banks of the Delaware River.
